Woman in Her 50’s Dies in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident at Hesperia Road and Yucca Street
Hesperia, California (September 2, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a BNSF train Saturday morning at an intersection in Hesperia, according to officials.
The fatal accident was reported at about 11:40 a.m. Saturday, August 31 at the intersection of Hesperia Road and Yucca Street.
Authorities said the pedestrian, a white female in her 50’s, was walking on the railroad tracks when for an unknown reason, she was struck by a BNSF train that was traveling northbound.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
