38-Year-Old Man Injured in Midway District Pedestrian Accident on Sports Arena Boulevard near East Drive
Midway District, California (September 1, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Friday night in the Midway District, according to a police report.
The accident happened at around midnight Friday, August 31 on Sports Arena Boulevard near East Drive.
As per the police report, the pedestrian, a 38-year-old man, was either walking or running when he was hit by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Sports Arena Boulevard.

The pedestrian suffered major head trauma as a result of the accident. The name and current condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
The 31-year-old driver was not under the influence.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
