Minor Injuries Sustained in Contra Costa Accident on Highway 4 near Hillcrest Avenue

Contra Costa, California (August 28, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a motorcycle collision early Wednesday morning in the area of Contra Costa, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 5:18 a.m. Wednesday, on westbound Highway 4, just west of Hillcrest Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a motorcycle and a vehicle crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 6:00 a.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
