Man Dies in Riverbank Work Accident on Homewood Way near Donner Trail
Riverbank, California (August 26, 2019) – A sanitation worker died after he was crushed by the mechanical arm of his garbage truck in Riverbank Monday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The deadly work accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Homewood Way near Donner Trail.
Authorities said the worker was on the job on Homewood Way when he was crushed by the arm that grabs the garbage cans.
The man died in the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.
