Bay Point, California (August 23, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision in Bay Point on Wednesday morning.

The motorcycle collision happened at about 7:41 a.m. August 21, in the area of Maylard Street and Bailey Road, near the Ambrose Park and Highway 4.

A California Highway Patrol report showed that a vehicle of unspecified built collided with a Kawasaki sports bike at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.

Motorcycle and Car Crash in Bay Point Wednesday

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics along with Fire department officials. It was not clear whether or not the patient was rushed to a hospital for further medication.

The identity and the current condition of the injured party remain unknown to this time.

Details regarding the driver of the involved vehicle have not yet been disclosed.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
