Stacie Dempsey Among 2 Drivers Killed in Los Molinos Car Crash on Highway 99E near Sixth Avenue
Los Molinos, California (August 23, 2019) – One of the drivers killed in a fiery two-car crash that happened earlier this month in Los Molinos has been identified as Stacie Dawn Dempsey, 32, of Gerber, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred at about 11:17 p.m. August 13, on Highway 99E near Sixth Avenue.
According to the CHP, a Dodge Caliber was traveling erratically at a high rate of speed northbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, the driver veered into the southbound traffic and crashed head-on into a gold Saturn Ion.
Both vehicles became engulfed in flames after the impact. The Saturn was in the southbound lane after the crash, and the Dodge was overturned in the center of the roadway adjacent to the Saturn.
Tehama County Rural Fire Department and CalFire officials responded to the scene and extricated both drivers from their burnt cars.

Dempsey and the other driver were the only occupants of their vehicles and died in the accident.
CHP is investigating the accident.
