Livermore, California (August 21, 2019) – A pilot was injured when a small plane crashed Wednesday morning in Livermore, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 11:50 a.m. at Livermore Municipal Airport.

As per the report, a single-engine Cessna 120 crashed after taking off from Runway 25L at Livermore Municipal Airport.

The single-engine aircraft took off to the west, turned back, and then crashed southwest of the airstrip in a nearby field.

One person was onboard the plane. The female pilot sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
