San Jose, California (August 12, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained after a motorcycle collision on Sunday morning in the area of San Jose, according to the authorities.

The crash happened at around 7:12 a.m. Sunday, August 11, on the Interstate 280 Freeway at Mclaughlin Avenue off-ramp.

As per the CHP officials, a trailer truck and a motorcycle crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

Responding firefighters found the motorcyclist down on the roadway. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately released.

Officials said the truck blocked at least four lanes of the highway causing a slow down on the traffic.

No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
