Man Dies in Phelan Crash on Interstate 15 near State Route 138
Phelan, California (August 7, 2019) – One person was killed in a traffic accident involving two vehicles Saturday night in unincorporated Phelan, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 11:34 p.m. Saturday, August 3 on southbound lanes of Interstate 15, approximately 2.2 miles north of State Route 138.
One male driver was declared dead at the scene at about 11:57 p.m. by responding paramedics. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Details on how the collision occurred were not immediately released.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
