3 Injured, 1 Seriously after Discovery Bay Crash at Marsh Creek Road and Bixler Road
East Contra Costa, California (August 6, 2019) – Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a traffic accident at an intersection in the Town of Discovery Bay, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at about 8:56 a.m. at the intersection of Marsh Creek Road and Bixler Road.
According to the CHP, a green Nissan Altima collided with a silver Dodge Caravan for an unknown reason at the Discovery Bay intersection.
Injury Multi-Car Crash in East Contra Costa Tuesday
One person sustained major injuries and another had moderate injuries. The third patient suffered minor injuries.
The names of the patients and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
