San Luis Obispo, California (August 4, 2019) – One person was injured in a car accident in San Luis Obispo on Saturday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Los Osos Valley Road near West Foothill Boulevard.
The authorities said 20-year-old Daniel Pooler was driving a Toyota Sienna eastbound on the roadway when he veered into the opposite lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a Toyota 4 Runner driven by 19-year-old Cory Fiscus.

The paramedics who responded to the incident had to extricate Pooler from the car before being transported to Sierra Vista Hospital in unknown condition.
Fiscus sustained serious injuries and was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment.
