Minor Injuries Sustained in 8 Freeway Car Accident near Waring Road in San Diego
San Diego, California (August 3, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that happened Friday night in San Diego.
The crash happened at about 11:50 p.m. on westbound 8 Freeway near Waring Road.
Authorities said the accident involved a gray Ford Focus and another car. One of the vehicles went up the embankment on the right-hand shoulder after the impact.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists. Minor injuries were sustained in the accident.
The No. 4 and 5 lanes remained blocked as investigators worked the scene.
The crash is under an active investigation.
