At Least 1 Hospitalized after Solano County Crash at Hawkins Road and Pitt School Road
Solano County, California (August 3, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a traffic crash Friday afternoon in the area of Solano County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 2:51 p.m. Friday, August 2, at Hawkins Road and Pitt School Road.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation. The crash caused a small bush fire near the area.
2-Car Accident at Hawkins Road and Pitt School Road
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one party who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The party was transported to Northbay Vacavalley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked the intersection to give way to an on-scene investigation and a clearing operation.
No additional details concerning the crash were released.
An investigation is underway.
