Arnold Rowe ID’d as Victim Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on West Avenue near Shields Avenue
Fresno, California (July 30, 2019) – Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Fresno as Arnold Rowe, 64, of Fresno.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 1:00 a.m. Sunday, July 28 on West Avenue near Shields Avenue.
Authorities said Rowe was pushing a 60-year-old man in a wheelchair across the street when they were hit by a pickup truck driven by 45-year-old.

Rowe was killed in the collision. The 60-year-old man in the wheelchair was hospitalized in critical condition.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
