Bellflower, California (July 24, 2019) – A Los Angeles County deputy and a pedestrian were among three people injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday night in Bellflower, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened just after 9 p.m. July 23, near Downey Avenue and Ramona Street.
Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the crash. A deputy in a patrol vehicle was responding to a call when he swerved to avoid a vehicle and ended up crashing into a parked vehicle and two pedestrians.

The deputy sustained minor injuries.
A pedestrian was hospitalized with traumatic injuries.
The crash caused a closure of a section of Downey Avenue as the scene was examined and cleared.
The crash is under investigation.
