Norma Velasquez Among 2 Killed in Lancaster Car Accident Near 90th Street and East Avenue E
Lancaster, California (July 22, 2019) – One of the two people who were killed in a traffic accident involving a car and a big rig in Lancaster Friday morning has been identified as Norma Murillo Velasquez, 45, of Lancaster, according to the coroner’s office.
The fatal crash was reported at about 11:35 a.m. July 19, in the area of 90th Street and East Avenue E.
Los Angeles County Fire Department indicated that the accident involved a tractor-trailer and a car, which collided at the intersection for reasons still under investigation. Due to the impact, three people were trapped inside one of the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, along with the firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and extricated three victims from the wreckage.
Velasquez was among the two victims who were pronounced dead at the scene following the crash. Two other people sustained severe injuries while another victim suffered minor injuries.
The identity of the second deceased victim and the injured parties have not yet been released to this time.
The crash remains under an active investigation.
