Major Injuries Suffered in 80 Freeway Accident near W Capitol Avenue in West Sacramento
West Sacramento, California (July 22, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major injury collision that happened Saturday afternoon in West Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the 80 Freeway accident happened at about 2:02 p.m. in the westbound lanes just east of W Capitol Avenue.
Three vehicles, including a black Chevrolet Malibu, were involved in the crash.
An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer medical aid to an unknown number of parties who sustained major injuries.
The vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
The cause of the crash will be determined when authorities conclude their investigation.
