Minor Injuries Sustained in San Mateo Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Hillsdale Boulevard

San Mateo, California (August 13, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a motorcycle collision Monday morning in the area of San Mateo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:53 a.m. Monday, August 12, on southbound Highway 101, just north of Hillsdale Boulevard.
As per the CHP officials, a vehicle and a motorcycle crashed for reasons still under investigation. The motorcycle was down in lane 2 after the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 1 and 2 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 8:20 a.m.
No additional details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is underway.
