1 Injured in Redwood City Car Accident on Highway 85 near Highway 101
Redwood City, California (January 20, 2019) – A traffic collision was reported in Redwood City on Saturday evening.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of Highway 85 near Highway 101 at about 6:38 p.m. January 19.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mazda sedan and a Ford pickup truck were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established, the sedan is reported to have sustained major front-end damage while the pickup truck suffered major left rear-end damage.
One person is reported to have sustained injuries in the collision.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
