Officer Thomas Brickley Hurt in Sonora Motorcycle Crash on Highway 108 at South Washington Street/Lime Kiln Road
Sonora, California (June 25, 2019) – A Sonora Police Department officer was injured when a patrol vehicle collided with a motorcyclist early Saturday morning in Sonora, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, on Highway 108 at the South Washington Street/Lime Kiln Road intersection.
As per the CHP report, the crash occurred when a man was riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle westbound on State Route 108 and a patrol vehicle that was parked on the shoulder made a U-turn in front of him.

The rider was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
The driver of the patrol car, Officer Thomas Brickley, was treated for minor injuries.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
