Woman Seriously Injured in Oak Park Hit-and-Run Accident at 54th Street and Haniman Drive
Oak Park, California (January 3, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a hit-and-run motorist late New Year’s Day in the Oak Park neighborhood in San Diego, according to a local news source.
Authorities said the major injury pedestrian accident happened at about 11:00 p.m. Friday, January 1 in the area of 54th Street and Haniman Drive.
As per the report, the pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman, was walking in the area outside a crosswalk when a vehicle hit her near the intersection of 54th Street and Haniman Drive.
Pedestrian Hit by Car in Oak Park
The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.
The driver did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or driver.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
