30-Year-Old Man Killed, 1 Injured in Oceanside Crash at College Boulevard and Oceanside Boulevard
Oceanside, California (January 3, 2021) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in an alleged DUI crash at an intersection in Oceanside, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:25 a.m. Saturday, January 2 at the intersection of College Boulevard and Oceanside Boulevard, authorities reported.
According to the authorities, a vehicle, driven by a 30-year-old man, was heading southbound on College Boulevard through the intersection of Oceanside Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, it was broadsided by another vehicle driven by a 27-year-old man.
Deadly Crash in Oceanside
The 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Alcohol was considered a factor in the accident. No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
