Hesperia, California (May 6, 2021) – One person was seriously injured after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning at the Hesperia Park and Ride on US 395 and Joshua Street, a local news source reported.
As per the article, for unknown reasons, the driver of a red sedan went off the roadway and crashed through a fence into the park & ride, and struck a semi-truck.
At least five other vehicles, including a pickup truck, were involved in the crash. Most of those vehicles were parked when the accident happened.
The driver of the sedan was pulled out of the wreckage and taken to a nearby landing zone to be airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of severe injuries. It was not clear if the other vehicles were occupied at the time of the collision.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
