Eureka, CA: Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Crash on Elk River Road
1 Person Hospitalized after Eureka Pedestrian Accident on Elk River Road
Eureka, California (December 12, 2020) – One person was hit and seriously by a vehicle on Saturday evening in Eureka, the CHP said.
The major Injury pedestrian accident happened at about 6:50 p.m. on Elk River Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by at least two vehicles on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian was hospitalized with two broken legs and one broken arm.
The driver of the first vehicle to hit the pedestrian remained at the scene. The other driver fled the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
