30-Year-Old Daniel Ray Gonzalez Arrested after Napa DUI Hit-And-Run Accident at Soscol and Kansas Avenues
Napa, California (April 20, 2019) – 30-year-old Daniel Ray Gonzalez has been identified as the hit-and-run DUI driver involved in a crash in Napa late Wednesday night.
The accident was reported just before 11:00 p.m. April 17, in the area of Soscol and Kansas avenues.
The accident happened when one person was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Soscol and Kansas avenues for unknown reasons.
The victim sustained serious injuries following the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The identity of the wounded party was not immediately released.

The involved driver, identified as Gonzalez, fled the scene and did not stop to render aid to the patient after the collision. His car was fully engulfed in flames about four blocks south of the accident scene.
As per the police, Gonzalez was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was arrested and booked into Napa County jail on charges of causing injuries and driving under the influence.
The crash is under investigation.
